AMAG Workshops

AMAG has developed a range of ready-to-go workshops which can be purchased and presented by arts organisations, local government and educational institutions, or which can be tailored to suit individual needs.

Workshops are delivered on your site and all workshops materials are included. All you have to do is promote them!

Each workshop is facilitated by an experienced management professional with direct, practical experience in the arts and cultural sector.

How it Works
Each request for a workshop or workshop program is treated on a case-by-case basis, with the specific needs of the Workshop Host in mind. However, in general, the following arrangements are standard:

Workshop Hosts provide -
· The venue (remember we come to you!)
· The participants
· Any equipment (i.e. whiteboard) required

AMAG provides -
· The content
· The facilitator

What it Costs
Calculate the cost of a workshop as follows:
Hourly rate: $140*  an hour ($120*  for AMAG Members) – most menu workshops are 2 hours duration, but some may be run for 3 hours.
Administration/Booking Fee: $100*  flat rate per workshop ($80*  for AMAG members)
Travel Costs: Most workshops delivered in the Melbourne metropolitan area do not incur additional travel costs. For regional workshops, some additional travel costs may be incurred.
Quote: Contact AMAG with your workshop needs and we can give a written quote for one or a series of workshops.
Customised Workshops:  If you have an idea for a workshop and it’s not on our menu, AMAG may be able to provide content and a facilitator. Costs for customised workshops will be quoted upon request.
Costs for Workshop participants: Workshop Hosts may decide to charge participants or make the workshop free.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of confirmed workshops will incur a $50 administrative charge. Workshops cancelled less than 14 days prior to their date will incur an additional $50 cancellation fee.

Workshop Hosts are asked to provide:
· A comfortable venue for the workshop
· Car parking facilities for the facilitator
· The required # copies of workshop notes to hand out to participants on the day (provided by the Workshop Facilitator)
· Copying and distribution of evaluation forms (as provided by AMAG)

Catering arrangements will vary with each workshop and are the responsibility of the Workshop Host. Workshop Hosts in certain regions may be asked to provide overnight accommodation and travel expenses.
